For a one day workshop I painted three demonstrations.  One of flowers I brought from my garden.  I had the class paint the flowers drawing  with the brush and laying out bright shapes and patterns and ending with a pale wash for the background.  The second was working with the same flowers but putting in a strong colorful background first.  Third demostration was laying in layers of washes, painting from a student’s photo.
